Lesley + Zach | Chapel Hill Wedding

Lesley and Zach were married Saturday at Snipes Farm Retreat in Chapel Hill. A light snow the night before left the grounds looking like a winter wonderland.

Lesley was an absolutely stunning bride.

Such troopers. It was freeeezing out, but definitely worth a little slipping and sliding to get these portraits.

The Snipes Farm reception building: really, really pretty. And, the twinkle lights inside were perfect.

During the ceremony, Lesley's bridesmaid read from the story, "I Like You" by Sandol Stoddard: "If you find two four-leaf clovers, you give me one. If I find four, I give you two. If we only find three, we keep on looking. Sometimes we have good luck, and sometimes we don't."

If only the snow hadn't prevented their real pyramid.

I think Zach requested this for his Chinese host family, but it looked very cool, so we'll share it with everybody.

Meet Jill

I was introduced to Jill several months ago at a meeting for women in business. When she said that she was a professional organizer, I knew that she and I could be great friends. If photography is my first love, organizing is definitely my second: I make lists of the lists that need to be made, clean my linen closets purely for enjoyment, and use the label-maker way too often. Jill is basically a rockstar in my world.

Carol + Chris | Chapel Hill

Yesterday, after a mostly cloudy morning and afternoon, the sun peaked through for Chris and Carol's engagement session at UNC. Carol is a Tar Heel alumna, so we found a few spots that were close to her heart. Plus, I learned a lot of fun UNC facts. Can't wait for your wedding in May!
